As a 23 year old college student I often wonder if I am truly a man. At what point does an adolescent boy become a man. What are the qualities that a true man possesses?
I know this for certain...any boy can create a child, only a man can create a family. A man will stand up for the poor and weak. A man will respect the purity and word of a woman. A man will die for those he loves. A man will keep his word. A man will work. A man will respect the beliefs of others. A man will stop a fight before starting one. A man will fight when he needs to. A man will stand alone. A man will make mistakes. A man will be wrong to make a loved one right. A man will put down his fork and spoon to help a stranger. A man will pray for the heart and soul of another. A man will pray for the good of his enemies. A man strives to be a better man. A man will admit to being wrong.
